I. REMINDERS
Feel free to poke me for replies if I owe you one. I tend to forget/get sidetracked pretty easily, so if it's been a few days, give me a heads up.
II. DISCORD VS. INGAME
I have a pretty busy schedule irl, so I usually prefer to do discord RPs for longterm stories. I like to venue-hop a lot though!
✱ 001 OOC =/= IC
This is an incredibly important rule to me. I AM NOT MY CHARACTER. Meaning, if my character does something or says something to yours, it is not meant as a personal offense. If my character acts a certain way, that does not mean that I feel the same way. If our characters get into a relationship, it does NOT mean that we, out of character, are in a relationship.
A distinction between in-character and out-of-character interactions is incredibly important. If you cannot separate yourself from your character, or me from mine, I may not be the person that would be good for you to RP with.
This does not mean I'm not open to talk! If my character does something that genuinely upsets you OOC or you have concerns, feel free to talk to me about it!

✱ 003 CONSENT IS KEY
I am totally cool with darker plotlines! I love writing my characters both in and out of dark, realistic situations that change them for either the worse or the better. However, these plotlines can be really taxing on my mental health, and they're best used sparingly! So, please talk to me about darker plotlines you'd like to explore with my character. I'm open to discussing just about anything.Hard limits for things I will absolutely NOT DO are under the following spoiler:

✱ 003 NO METAGAMING/POWERPLAY
As fun as it can be to have insanely powerful characters that always win a fight due to their roidrage, I'm not interested in interacting or much intense combat-RP. When it comes to power scaling in the FFXIV universe, there are a lot of powerful characters out there -- I rarely like to pursue these plotlines.
If I disclose something to you out of character, or you read something in my character's carrds that wouldn't be public knowledge, please don't bring it up in-character without consulting me first.
